The Project has taken into account the particularities of the cross-border region and a demographic profiling has already been attempted in order for the project to better tackle the problématiques of the area. In particular, the Project focuses on the cross-border area between the northern borders of Greece and the South-west regions of N. Macedonia. In particular, the Lead Beneficiary, LP INAB/CERTH represents part of the largest Research Center in Northern Greece and the lower Balkan Peninsula in general, while PP3-. a, is centrally located in the city of Thessaloniki Likewise, the PP4 is located in the Pelagonia region, in a a cross border area with Greece, while the PP2is located in Skopje, but is active on a whole country level. In all, Project Activities will be implemented in the cross border area, however most of the partners are, by definition, institutions with a wide range of effect. In conclusion, the partnership is in a unique position to append to the totality of the cross-border area and project activities will be likewise dispersed.

In particular, the Project Partners will emphasize project implementation in the cross-border region, with a number of events taking place alongside the borderline. In addition, Thessaloniki and Bitola will act as multipliers and implementation hubs, while additional activities will be carried out in the CB-region according to partner competencies. As such, PP1 and PP3 has an area of effect that corresponds to the totality of Northern Greece and will, respectively, implement activities alongside the cross-border region. PP2 and PP4 will act accordingly while the LB and PP3 will host major events since both Partners exhibit sufficient pre-existing infrastructure and technical know-how.
