Methodological Approach
Initially studies of the CB area will be contacted for the mapping of the current situation, for understating the needs of graduates and stakeholders and to develop the methods for their training. The project will use best practices and experience gained from P1 in novel agricultural practices and business skills. In addition, P3 is expected to contribute through its own «Career Opportunities by Viral Interactions and Dialogues», carried out by its alumni office, which has already established linkages with the business sector in the CB region
P2 with its established contacts > 200 with the agricultural Business Sector on one side (through its Carrier Centre) but also with the Public Institutions on another side could enable internship opportunities for the young graduates. This project will contribute to expansion of the established internship procedure for a longer period, thus the students will obtain the necessary business skills and practice.
- Expansion of internships to the levels of education that have exit to the labor market, and development of a framework of incentives to attract more businesses to host internships.
- Networking of the Career Office with structures of promoting of employment and mediation.
- Promotion of youth entrepreneurship towards development of entrepreneurial spirit, with systematic motivation and training in development of business plans, visits to companies and participation in entrepreneurship projects and social entrepreneurship actions
The project will run a startup accelerator, which is a school where aspiring entrepreneurs turn their vision for a business into a reality. An accelerator brings together the talented people, the training, and the cash to get your business off the ground. The accelerator will cultivate Leadership, Empower the entrepreneurs and innovators on your internal teams while providing new tools and frameworks that can become catalysts for cultural transformation, Accelerate Innovation thus generate a multitude of valuable new business and product ideas by introducing startup and lean business approaches to product development, Retain & Develop Talent by Boost retention and keep entrepreneurial employees engaged within a creative, innovative, startup-like work environment. The acceleration program is an intensive project-based course in which participants are asked to design and test new business ideas that deal with the real needs while applying the concepts of business, organizational skills, finance as well as design thinking and engineering. For each training activity the evaluation questionnaire will be developed in order to obtain a feedback information and opinion from the trainees. The information gathered will be used as a compass for improvement of the actions. The entrepreneurial resource and the agriculture technology seminars may be combined in packages and delivered to the eligible populations. Electronic platform will be created, P3 has one designed for distance (synchronized or non synchronized) learning. Some of the world's most promising entrepreneurs are already out there, waiting for their opportunity to innovate business. The Bootcamp provides custom-built innovation training to provide teams with the frameworks, skills, and mentorship necessary to rapidly identify and advance new business concepts. In small groups, the trainers will help the participants to workshop their idea in a supportive yet open environment. They will ask the tough questions, share thoughts and work together as a group to test the ideas of the participants. 2 boot camps and acceleration programs will be implemented leading to The boot camp will end in a Business Plans Contest with the stakeholders beeing part of the contest and evaluation. This events will lead to the networking of the graduates with the stakeholders thus ensuring the initiall employment of 10 graduates are help in seting up their start up company.
